Born and raised in Colorado, Justin has walked many paths. As a kid, he was fascinated with the underlying functions of machines. In time, this mechanical aptitude began to materialize, as he began to love cars and the designing of cars. After graduating high school, he began taking night classes at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA to study transportation design. After some time, a realization set in that designing cars was not the career for him. He came back to Colorado to begin studying mechanical engineering at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. After graduation with a B.S. in engineering, he transitioned into the engineering industry. However, a lingering passion for art and design was eminent, which led to photography as an outlet of sorts. After getting some gear and basic equipment, he started using his free time to take photos, and understand the complicated nuances that come with photography. Present day, Justin is a full-time engineer, part-time photographer.
